July 16 - Shelburne VT to Snug Harbor NY

Another scorcher. This morning we ran a few additional tests on our radar. Finally we got things working and at 1:30 p.m. we were finished. Just two items remained, we had to fill up on diesel and pay the bill. We certainly supported the local economy.

As we headed north, we could see
Burlington - what a shame that we
could not get a slip in its harbor. We decided not to make this a long day and headed for Snug Harbor - just two hours away. During the War of 1812, the British and American Navies battled one another at this spot. Dinner was at a restaurant with a fabulous view over the harbor and nearby Valcour Island
