Shortly after having left our marina, we came to Lock 2. While locking through, is was suggested that we lower the antennas since the next bridge had just 17 feet in vertical clearance. It was for this reason that our mast was taken down. 
We saw the ideal boat house - it does need a bit of work. We went under many bridges - all with just a few inches between the bridge and the top of our canvas enclosure. We also cleared a total 9 locks. Overnight was at a free city dock in Whitehall, NY. Dinner was at a small local restaurant.
